DAY 1: CUSCO -WAYLLABAMBA (L) (B):

Very early in the morning we will pick you up at your hotel on a bus that will take us to kilometer 82, arriving around 11:00 a.m. to meet the entire team of professionals who will make your trip a success. Then we will start our walk. This first day is beautiful and the first kilometers are easy to cover. We will have the beautiful view of the snowy Verónica and we will also be walking near the Vilcanota river until we reach the Llactapata archaeological complex, where we will have lunch and then we will continue to our first camp in Wayllabamba where we will spend the night after a restorative dinner.

 

DAY 2: WAYLLABAMBA - WARMIWAÑUSCA - PACAYMAYO (B) (L) (D):

After breakfast begins the most difficult, but not impossible, part of the trek to the highest part of the Inca Trail, where you will have an amazing panoramic view of the entire area, where you can observe the different types of microclimates existing in the area. After a 3-hour walk, we will pass through the clearing called Warmiwañiusca or dead woman, at an altitude of 4,200 m. Here you will have the enormous satisfaction of reaching the highest point of the entire Inca Trail. After this fabulous experience, we will have lunch and then continue descending to Pacaymayo, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

 

DAY 3: PACAYMAYO - PUYUPATAMARKA - WIÑAY HUAYNA (B) (L) (D):

After breakfast, we will begin the walk to the second most important step of the Inca Trail at 3,850 m ASL, until we reach the archaeological site of Runkurakay where we will have a guided tour of the entire complex as well as the citadel of Sayacmarca. After the guided tour, we will continue our walk to another important monument, the Puyupatamarka archaeological site, where we will have lunch. After a short rest, we will continue our walk until we reach the last camp of Wiñay Huayna (eternally young), where we will have a guided visit to this impressive archaeological site. After the visit, we will have dinner and spend the last night.

 

DAY 4: WIÑAY HUAYNA - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO (B):

After breakfast, we will continue our walk very early to arrive in time to see the sunrise in Machupicchu. After an hour of walking, we will pass through the Inti Punku or Puerta del Sol, also known as the gateway to Machupicchu, where you will have an amazing panoramic view of the entire citadel. After this experience, we will visit the surroundings of the Inca citadel for about 3 hours, visiting the main sites such as enclosures, squares, sacred sources, temples, the agricultural and urban sectors. After our guided tour, you will have free time to take photos etc. Later we will meet with the rest of the group to take the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon we will return to Cusco by train. End of our services.
