Lake Humantay

LAGOON HUMANTAY 1 DAY

LOCATION: Cusco, Mollepata (Soraypampa).

AVAILABILITY: EVERY DAY.

DURATION: FULL DAY.

DIFFICULTY: MEDIUM.

You will be picked up from the hotel between 4:45 a.m. at 5:00 a.m. and then make a 2-hour trip through beautiful landscapes where we can appreciate in the middle of the route the imposing Nevado de Salkantay and the Limatambo Valley, then we will arrive at Mollepata located at 2900 m.s.n.m. small town where we will have a delicious breakfast and then continue our route for about 45 minutes by road until we reach Soraypampa (3900 masl), the beautiful views of the mountains and snow-capped mountains will welcome us, our guide will perform a small Andean ritual ceremony to begin to walk, then it will be an hour and a half to two hours uphill approximately until we reach the beautiful Laguna Humantay (4200 meters above sea level) located on the slopes of the mountain of the same name, upon arrival we will have between 40 minutes to an hour to enjoy the tranquility and peace of this place and take our photographs, after having enriched ourselves with such a beautiful experience we will begin to descend again to Soraypampa (one hour downhill approx.) so that our mobility will return to Mollepata where a delicious lunch will be waiting for you Then we will return to Cusco (5:30 PM to 6:00 PM).
